Create an Acrylic Skin Using a Painted Design

Acrylic skins are films made from acrylic paints or gels or a combination of both. To make them, the acrylic products are applied to a surface that they will not "stick to", ie: glass sheets, freezer paper, sheets of high density polyethylene or silicon baking sheets. You then peel the skin off that non-stick surface. They make great collage elements. There are many kinds of "skins" and many ways to make them. In this demonstration, you'll learn one way to make a skin that includes a painted design.
